Special events

Through the year we host events for the whole neighbourhood, not just our church family. Everyone is welcome — no need to book unless we say so.

Level Up Night
Saturday 10 October, 5.30 – 7.30pm
A hangout night for ages 13–18 at Oaklands School Hall — obstacle course, inflatable gladiator, boxing ring, and free pizza and hot chips. Bring your friends. Run with Christchurch City Council.
Family Fun Day
Late November — date to be confirmed
Our main annual event, and everyone in Halswell is welcome. Bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting, live music, free coffee, food, farm animals and a magic show.

Sundays, 10am
Seven Oaks School, 77 Murphys Road
Our main gathering each week, with children’s programme running during the service.
Mid-week prayer
Tuesdays, 7.30pm
Mato and Anna Kariuki’s home, 10c Quaifes Road, Halswell
We sing worship songs, reflect on scripture, and pray for the needs of our church, personal needs and the world.
